About

Hi, I’m Gen!

If you’re looking for credentials and fancy titles, this probably isn’t the website for you.

I’m a college dropout from the Philippines — no degrees, no letters after my name — but I’ve spent the last 15 years studying, researching, and experimenting with everything that could improve my health and energy.

I’ve tried different diets, low-calorie plans, meal replacements and shakes, intense exercise routines, keto, German New Medicine, and emotional healing.

And here on this blog, I’ll share what actually worked for me.

My Story (Short Version)

My health journey started in college when I developed a skin condition that wouldn’t go away.

After years of dermatologist visits and medications that only made things worse, I began searching for answers myself.
That search became an obsession — I’ve spent over a decade studying nutrition, functional health, and even the science of consciousness.

For years, I did everything “right” — fasting, walking, cutting sugar, avoiding coffee — yet my symptoms remained.

It wasn’t until I started working on my mind, not just my body, that everything finally began to change.

What I Learned

I discovered that healing isn’t only about what we eat — it’s also about what we think, feel, and believe.

Once I started shifting my mindset and emotional state, my physical symptoms began to fade — even the ones I’d struggled with for over a decade.

Now I’m on a mission to share those lessons through Your Health Reminder — simple, practical insights that combine real food, energy, and consciousness.

Why I Created “Your Health Reminder”

Most of us spend our days on autopilot — waking up, working, eating, scrolling, and sleeping… only to repeat it the next day.

We make time for everything — except ourselves.

And while we often think we’re being “healthy” by doing some form of exercise or cutting out one or two foods, true health goes much deeper than that.

For years, I was the same.

I was always busy, always learning, but never truly listening to my body.

That’s why I created Your Health Reminder — as a gentle nudge for all of us (myself included) to slow down and take care of the body and mind that carry us through life.

One hour a day of mindful self-care — whether through movement, real food, rest, or reflection — can completely change how you feel, think, and live.

This blog is my reminder… and maybe it can be yours too.
